Garrison Famiglio will perform his senior vocal recital on April 4 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. Famiglio, a bass-baritone, is a music major from State College, Pennsylvania.
The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream.
The performance will open with Johannes Brahms' "Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs)," Op. 103, followed by "Ya mis horas felices" from the Spanish operetta "La del Soto del Parral" by Reveriano Soutullo and Juan Vert. The recital will also feature Francis Poulenc's song set "Le Bestiaire, ou Cortège d'Orphée (The Beastiary, or the Procession of Orpheus)" before closing with songs by English and American composers. Famiglio has studied music under Gregory Parker, professor of music at W&L.
