Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Mission to ASEAN Fu Fengshan Attends the Hong Ting Forum and China-ASEAN Media and Think Tank Salon

On December 11, 2025, Mr. Fu Fengshan, Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Mission to ASEAN,attended the Hong Ting Forum co-organized by the Mission and theXinhua News Agency's Asia-Pacific Bureau, and presided over the ChinaASEAN Media and Think Tank Salon. Mr. Fu briefed the audience on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and China's 15th Five-Year Plan. He also shared views on the development environment for our region, the prospects of China's  development in the next five years and how to seize the  new opportunities for China-ASEAN closer cooperation. Up to one hundred guests were present, including permanent representatives of ASEAN member states, officials from the ASEAN Secretariat, and delegates from regional think tanks, media and enterprises.

The event was themed "Advance New Frontiers for ChinaASEAN Cooperation" and the guests actively engaged in discussions focused on  the consensus "Changes Engender Opportunities and Future Depends on Cooperation." They expressed confidence in China implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan and looked forward to greater potential and more fruitful outcomes over the next five yearsfrom China-ASEAN cooperation in economy, trade, people-to-people exchanges, connectivity, and emerging areas, which will inject more certainty and stability into the region and the world.
