Various evening/overnight lane/ramp closures on I-49 for pavement work, ONGOING ? Oct.16

JACKSON/CASS COUNTIES - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various lane/ramp closures along northbound/southbound Interstate 49. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

TONIGHT, Oct. 13th at 7:00 pm until Wednesday, Oct. 14th at 6:00 am

• Crews will conduct a single lane closure SB I-49 from MO-291 to Mechanics St.

Wednesday, Oct. 14th at 7:00 pm until Thursday, Oct. 15th at 6:00 am

• Crews will conduct a single lane closure NB I-49 from MO 291 and Route C/J.

Thursday, Oct. 15th at 7:00 pm until Friday, Oct. 16th at 6:00 am

• Crews will conduct a 3-lane closure on NB I-49 between Blue Ridge Blvd and I-435.
• Crews will close the on ramp from Blue Ridge Blvd to NB I-49.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
