New mom receives specialized care for postpartum hypertension

A healthy pregnancy and a beautiful new baby-then an unexpected health scare changed everything.

After delivering her son, Maggie Sharum, returned to the Ascension St. John Medical Center OB Emergency Room with dangerously high blood pressure.
