Two Vehicle Crash with Major Injuries

At approximately 2:35 PM personnel from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to reports of a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of Rock Blvd. and Capitol Blvd.

The initial investigation revealed the at fault vehicle violated the right of way of the second vehicle. Both speed and aggressive driving appear to be factors in the crash. Both drivers were transported by EMS with major injuries. A 12-year juvenile passenger sustained minor injuries.

The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation.

Police believe there may be witnesses to the crash that did not remain on scene. Anyone with information is urged to call the Reno Police Department's non-emergency line at 775-334-2677.
