Rocky Hill, CT - The Vale, Rocky Hill's newest apartment community is getting ready to welcome its first residents with a grand opening celebration on October 15th. Construction on this multi-family community began in July 2023. Construction of the additional two residential buildings will finish over the next couple of months, with final completion expected by December 2025.
The Vale is being developed by The Simon Konover Company who has retained Associated Construction Company as the general contractor. Located on Silas Deane Highway, this project consists of a clubhouse and 72 residential units in three buildings with 10% designated as affordable. The Vale is adjacent to two other apartment communities owned and managed by affiliates of The Simon Konover Company with a combined total of over 430 units between the three properties.
"We are excited to add The Vale to our footprint in Rocky Hill" said Newton Brainard, Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for The Simon Konover Company. "Everyone from the Town of Rocky Hill has been great to work with, including Mayor Marotta, Ray Carpentino the Town Manager, Town Planner Kim Ricci, and the Town Council. All were responsive and efficient from the initial planning to receiving the first Certificates of Occupancy."
The Vale has a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 700 to 1,365 square feet with private balconies or patios, in-unit laundry, 9-foot ceilings, modern finishes, options for garage parking and more. The 4,400 square foot clubhouse contains a cardio studio, resident lounge, and work from home space. Outdoor common space has a terrace, fire pit, dog park and EV charging stations.
"These new, upscale apartments have open floorplans, modern kitchens and many amenities to compliment today's lifestyle" said Kelly Kilham, Senior Vice President of Konover Residential Corporation. "The central location in the Rocky Hill community is minutes from shopping, restaurants, major highways, walking trails and parks. Having three properties all adjacent to each other will enhance the living experience of residents in all three communities."
