Reserve Flood Park Picnic Sites Online Beginning Nov 3

November 2, 2025

On Monday, November 3, reserve new Flood Park picnic areas online via our online reservation system. These sites previously opened for reservation by phone in August 2025.

Following Phase 1 construction of the Realize Flood Park project, all of the original reservable picnic sites within the park are now open except the Manzanita Picnic Area, which is in the construction area for the up-and-coming Flood Park Playground, projected to open in summer 2026.

The new Flood Park picnic areas accommodate groups between 40 to 200 people and include updated amenities, including adjustable-height barbecues, pull-down faucets, and electrical outlets with USB ports. Some larger sites feature a cozy breakout area with a circle of Adirondack chairs. Come enjoy the newly constructed volleyball, tennis/pickleball, and basket ball courts, available on a first come, first served basis, which are situated nearby, as well as the small multi-use playing field and bicycle pump track.

View individual picnic sites by visiting the Flood Park reservable facilities pages here on the San Mateo County Parks website.
