Public Hearing on Water Rates Rescheduled to September 28
The Public Hearing on Water Rates has been rescheduled to Monday, September 28, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Hillsboro Civic Center. The change was made to accommodate another event at the Civic Center to avoid a scheduling conflict for community members who wished to attend.
The hearing will open with a presentation covering how Hillsboro's water rates are set, what they fund, and the rationale behind the three proposed rate adjustment options for 2027 and 2028. Following the presentation, community members will have the opportunity to share comments directly with the Utilities Commission.
Hillsboro Water apologizes for any confusion caused by the schedule change and appreciates the community's understanding and continued engagement throughout this process. Residents unable to attend in person can still learn more and submit feedback online.
