Alexandria Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on N. Patrick Street

Alexandria, VA - At approximately 6:36 p.m. this evening, Alexandria Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 900 block of N. Patrick Street. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male inside an apartment building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, as well as a juvenile male with an apparent gunshot wound. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital.

The adult male later succumbed to his injuries. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Detectives with the Alexandria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division are actively investigating this incident and are collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
