City of Syracuse - Parkside Commons Apartments

Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The City of Syracuse Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Parkside Commons Apartments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves:

  • A
    • resubdivision of five existing lots situated at 1951 E Fayette St. & Ives St., 1953 E Fayette St. Rear, 1961 E Fayette St., 1965 E Fayette St. & Westmoreland Ave., and 256 Westmoreland Ave., totaling 1.384 Acres/60,287 SF into one new lot (Lot A);
    • resubdivision of three existing lots situated at 2000 E Fayette St. & Westmoreland Ave., 2012 E Fayette St., and 2016-24 E Fayette St. & Ellis St., totaling 0.649 Acres/28,270 SF into one new lot (Lot B);
  • B
    • construction of a five-story mixed use building, podium construction with interior sub-grade parking allowing 79 spaces, one commercial tenant space on the first floor, and in total 143 residential dwelling units located on the first to fifth floor (Building A) on Lot A;
    • construction of a four-story mixed use building, with interior parking allowing 28 spaces, commercial tenant spaces and amenities on the first floor, and in total 50 residential dwelling units located on the second to fourth floor (Building B) on Lot B;
  • C
    • installation of landscaping buffers and stormwater management facilities on both Building A and Building B.

The project is located at 1951 E Fayette St. & Ives St., 1953 E Fayette St. Rear, 1961 E Fayette St., 1965 E Fayette St. & Westmoreland Ave., 256 Westmoreland Ave., 2000 E Fayette St. & Westmoreland Ave., 2012 E Fayette St., 2016-24 E Fayette St. & Ellis St. in the City of Syracuse, New York.
