StFX chemistry student Poppy Moon set to compete at national track and field event

StFX chemistry student Poppy Moon with Dr. Geniece Hallett-Tapley and Dr. Gerry Marangoni at the USport Send Off for the StFX Women's 4 x 800 m relay team.
Poppy Moon is a student in the StFX Chemistry Department. Alongside her achievements in the classroom and her research work with Dr. Gerry Marangoni, Poppy is also an accomplished member of the StFX Cross Country Team. This past fall, she helped lead the X-Women to a USport silver medal at the 2025 USport Cross Country Championships.
Now, Poppy is on her way to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to represent StFX at the USport Indoor Track and Field Championships. She will compete as part of the 4 x 800 m relay team, which set a new AUS record earlier this year.
