As UA's homecoming queen, she will get to select an on-campus passion project to receive a donation from the Homecoming Queen Endowed Fund. Grzybowski selected Remote Area Medical at UA.
RAM at UA is the campus chapter of Remote Area Medical, an organization that provides free dental, vision and medical care through mobile pop-up clinics around the United States.
Morgan GrzybowskiGrzybowski's commitment to compassion in the healthcare industry is personal.
"My 'why' began when my younger sister was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Overnight, her childhood became filled with needles and uncertainty. Walking beside her, I witnessed the power of empathy in helping someone feel seen and supported," Grzybowski said. "That experience ignited my passion for medicine and my belief that compassion is one of the most powerful forms of leadership. That belief has shaped everything I've done at UA."
Grzybowski will officially be crowned during halftime of Saturday's Alabama-Oklahoma football game, kicking off at 2:30 p.m.
