Congressman Sorensen Helps Pass Legislation to Prevent Health Care Costs from Skyrocketing

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) released the following statement after voting in favor of legislation to help millions of Americans afford their health insurance.

"Too many families are forced to bankrupt themselves to afford basic health care to keep themselves healthy," said Congressman Sorensen. "For months, House Republicans left millions of Americans in the lurch wondering if their health insurance premiums were going to skyrocket by refusing to work with Democrats on a solution to address rising costs.
