Eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed between Price Road and Arizona Avenue June 12-15

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers of the following closures scheduled for work on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project:

• Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Price Road and Arizona Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, June 12, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 15.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Chandler Boulevard or Germann Road to navigate around the closure.
• Lindsay Road will continue to be closed in both directions nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning, June 12, and again from 10 p.m. Friday, June 12, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 15.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may use Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.

Upcoming Closures

• Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Alma School and Cooper roads from 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 22.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may use Chandler Boulevard and Pecos and Germann roads to reconnect with eastbound Loop 202 at Cooper or Gilbert roads.

• Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may use Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
