Minnesota Avenue Construction

Beginning on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, traffic will transition to the east two lanes of Minnesota Avenue from West 2nd Street to West 8th Street. Work will begin on the west side of Minnesota Avenue, including pavement removals, replacement of a 36-inch-diameter water main, storm drainage installation, new concrete pavement with a center median, traffic signals, enhanced street lighting, and streetscaping.

Left turn movements will continue to be restricted through the construction zone.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure - South Western Avenue and West Ralph Rogers Road

Starting at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the outer southbound lane of South Western Avenue will be closed at the intersection of West Ralph Rogers Road to allow crews to perform accessible curb ramp repairs.

This work is anticipated to be completed by early afternoon.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
