Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport Updates Parking Rates

Effective Wednesday, July 1, 2026, rates for self-parking options at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) will be updated.

The daily maximum rates for the Express Shuttle Lot, Garage, Premier East Lot, Premier West Lot and Surface Lot will update to the following:

• Express Shuttle Lot: $9 daily rate (current rate: $8 daily rate)
• Garage: $22 daily rate (current rate: $20 daily rate)
• Premier East Lot: $15 daily rate (current rate: $14 daily rate)
• Premier West Lot: $15 daily rate (current rate: $14 daily rate)
• Surface Lot: $13 daily rate (current rate: $12 daily rate)
• Handicap Parking Rate: $13 daily rate (current rate: $12 daily rate)

There will be no change to the daily rate for:

• Valet Parking ($35 daily)

The Express Shuttle Lot is currently offering $6 daily parking plus tax with advanced reservation that is completed at least four-hours prior to arrival. For full details, visit FlyLouisville.com/Save5.

All self-park lots will continue to offer tiered hourly rates as well.

Anyone who parks in the Garage as well as the Express Shuttle, Premier East, Premier West or Surface Lots prior to July 1, 2026 will receive the current posted rate without the adjustment for the duration of their park.

Improving the customer experience has been top of mind with multiple parking improvements completed at SDF since 2020 through the SDF Next Program. More than $8 million has been invested in three new or expanded lots - the Premier East, the Premier West and the Express Shuttle Lot - with a 23% increase in overall parking capacity since this time. Since June 2023, nearly 600 additional parking spaces were added thanks to the reconfiguration and optimization of existing lots to maximize capacity as well expanding the Express Shuttle Lot. Those parking in the Express Shuttle Lot can now also track the shuttle location in real time using the QR code posted at the pick-up points within the lot and at the terminal's lower roadway.

The Park Assist® Parking Guidance System was installed in the Garage that indicates which specific spaces are available or occupied by using color-coded LED lights. This offers predictability, security and eases the parking process for travelers and airport visitors. New covered pedestrian walkways were also added from the Surface Lot into the Garage to the Terminal, providing convenient and direct access into the facility while improving the customer's experience.

To further streamline the parking experience at SDF, a prepaid parking reservation and the SDF Rewards frequent parker program are now available.
