Bratislava/Jaslovske Bohunice, West Slovakia, Aug 17 (CTK correspondent) - Slovakia plans to buy Czech energy group CEZ's stake in Slovak firm Jadrova energeticka spolocnost Slovenska (JESS), which is preparing the building of a new nuclear power plant in the country, in September after earlier delays, PM Robert Fico said.
Fico also criticised the Slovak Economy Ministry's approach. He said that the Prime Minister's Office would take a more active role in the matter.
The Economy Ministry acknowledged that it had failed to meet the original deadlines. The Slovak opposition had previously claimed that the dispute on the Slovak side was over the price of the settlement with CEZ.
