VIENNA, 21 April (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Türkiyeto the United Nations (Vienna), Mustafa Kibaroğlu, presented his credentials today to the Acting Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) John Brandolino.
During his career, Mr. Kibaroğlu has served in various capacities, among them:
Minister Plenipotentiary, Permanent Mission of Türkiyeto the United Nations at Vienna (2025-present); Director of the Graduate School, MEF University in Istanbul (2024-2025); Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative & Social Sciences, MEF University (2017-2024); Founding Chair of the Department of Political Science & International Relations, MEF University (2014-2017); Chair, Department of International Relations, Okan University in Istanbul (2011-2014); Vice-Chair, Department of International Relations at Bilkent University in Ankara (1997-2011); and Academic Advisor of the NATO Centre of Excellence Defence against Terrorism.
Prof. Kibaroğlu holds a Ph.D. from the International Relations Department at Bilkent University in Ankara.
He speaks English and French.
