American Honda Announces Sales Leadership Changes

July 22, 2026 - TORRANCE, Calif.,
  • Jessika Laudermilk, currently assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales will become assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales
  • Luis Guerra, currently Central Region director of Auto Sales will become assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales
  • Mike Langel, currently assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales will become assistant vice president of Sales at the Honda Aircraft Company

American Honda today announced rotational changes to the company's Auto Sales leadership effective Monday, August 3, 2026. Jessika Laudermilk, currently assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales, will move over to lead Acura brand sales as the assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales. Luis Guerra, currently Central Region director within Auto Sales, will succeed Laudermilk as assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. Mike Langel, currently assistant vice president of Acura National Auto Sales, will assume a new sales position at Honda Aircraft Company (HACI).

Jessika Laudermilk
Jessika Laudermilk joined Honda in 2018 as part of the field sales organization. Over the past two years, she has led Honda National Sales, helping drive record sales of hybrid-electric vehicles for the Honda brand. Her previous roles included serving as assistant vice president of the Marketing Division, where Laudermilk oversaw marketing operations for both the Honda and Acura brands. Her overall experience will be invaluable as Acura prepares to introduce a new generation of vehicles, including the brand's first hybrid-electric models.

Luis Guerra
Luis Guerra brings almost two decades of experience with the company to his new role, working within both the Honda and Acura field organizations and Honda National Sales. In addition to his current responsibility as Central Region director, Guerra has served in a variety of sales leadership roles in the company's Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and North Central Zones. As a member of the United States Army, Guerra served in both Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

Mike Langel
Since joining American Honda in 2008, Mike Langel has served in a variety of roles within the Auto and Motorcycle Sales Divisions of the company, including both regional and national positions. As the assistant vice president of Acura National Sales for the past two years, he helped guide the brand through challenging business conditions, leading to strong sales momentum in 2026. As an experienced pilot with a passion for flying, supporting HondaJet sales will enable Langel to fulfill a personal dream.
