Haylie Duff and Football Legends Bring Fall Flavors and Family Fun to The Backyard Bash with The Signature SELECT Life

More than 1,500 guests came together for The 3rd Annual Backyard Bash with The Signature SELECT® Life in San Jose, California, and Scottsdale, Arizona, celebrating the little moments and big moments that make time spent with family, friends and community special.

Albertsons Companies' Signature SELECT® brand and Visa, a world leader in digital payments, brought the free, family-friendly celebration to both communities for the first time. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of fall flavors, music, games and memorable experiences.

Actress, director and mom Haylie Duff returned for her third year of The Backyard Bash, bringing fall flavor inspiration to the stage with live cooking demonstrations featuring easy entertaining ideas, including Sweet and Savory Crockpot Meatball Bites and Caramel Apple Nachos.

"As a mom and someone who loves cooking for family and friends, I'm proud to return for another year of The Backyard Bash with The Signature SELECT Life," said Duff. "Sharing food is one of the simplest ways to bring people together."

Football fans also had the opportunity to meet two legends of the game. Legendary linebacker and Hall of Famer Patrick Willis met with fans at Discovery Meadow in San Jose, while eight-time Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson joined the celebration at the Scottsdale Civic Center.

"I've always believed some of the best memories come from simply showing up and spending time together," said Peterson. "The Backyard Bash with The Signature SELECT Life is all about enjoying the moment and making time for the people who matter most."

Throughout both events, guests sampled a variety of Signature SELECT favorites and new products, including wood fired and Roman-style Pinsa pizzas, bao buns, potstickers and spring rolls, ice cream, snacks, seasonal beverages and more. Guests also enjoyed larger-than-life experiences, including the Human Claw Machine, putt-putt golf, photo opportunities and scavenger hunts with giveaways throughout the day, while DJ Aaron Smalls kept the energy high with music and crowd engagement.
