April: our engagement continued with more than a hundred Security Forces trained

During the month of April, EUCAP Sahel Mali supported 6 training courses for the benefit of 111 participants. The sessions took place in the various training centers of the Security Forces, including those of the National Gendarmerie, the General Directorate of Technical and Scientific Police, the Security Forces Staff School and the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection.

These trainings, largely delivered by Malian experts, 17 in total for this month, covered key areas for capacity building of the Security Forces, including:

  • The judicial police,

  • Investigations into digital traces,

  • Career management,

  • Reception of victims,

  • Ethics and deontology.

Through this support, EUCAP Sahel Mali reaffirms its commitment alongside the national authorities to support the professionalization of security actors and contribute to more effective security governance, at the service of the population.
