Westbound to I-8 Northbound SR-163 Connector Closed Evenings of Sep. 28 to Oct. 2

San Diego - Caltrans will close the westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) to northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector in the evenings from Sunday, September 28 to Wednesday, October 2, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for broadband installation.
Motorists may continue westbound on I-8, exit at Hotel Circle North, go eastbound, turn left at Fashion Valley Road, turn right on Friars, and then merge onto the northbound SR-163.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
