WWU's Starlight Shuttle resumes service Sept. 21

The Starlight Shuttle will begin its regular operating schedule starting Sunday, Sept. 21. The Starlight Shuttle is WWU's safe ride home program for after Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) buses end operations for the day.

Students and employees are welcome to ride the Starlight Shuttle; booking a ride is easy through the WWU Starlight Shuttle app. The shuttle is an on-demand door-to-door service that operates within 5 miles of campus. The Starlight Shuttle is free to riders and is funded through the Active Transportation Fee.

The shuttle operates Monday through Saturday 10:30 p.m. through 2:30 a.m. and Sunday from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The shuttle does notoperate Thursday through Saturday of Thanksgiving break, during winter break, and during spring break. Riders may bring a guest on the shuttle, and all riders are expected to follow shuttle policies.
