Dallas Business Journal: Torchy’s Tacos lined up for Uptown’s tallest tower

Uptown's tallest tower has leased 100% of its retail space with a latest addition. Torchy's Tacos will occupy the last restaurant space lingering at 23Springs, according to a Nov. 17 announcement. Torchy's will fill a 2,533-square-foot space next door to Little Ruby's Café and adjacent to Elephanté, both of which were previously announced as restaurants coming to the development.
Torchy's at 23Springs will open in summer 2026 and serve as the model for a new approach to the Austin-based fast-casual concept.
The new Torchy's will have a different look and feel than its normal casual setting. Torchy's at 23Springs will debut as a prototype for a more urban look to match Uptown's trendy environment, according to the announcement.
