Bentley’s Medical Mystery

When Bentley suddenly started having accidents in the house, his family was worried and confused. He was fully potty-trained, so this behavior was completely out of character. Unsure of what to do, they even considered rehoming him. Thankfully, they reached out to our Animal Services Officers, who listened with empathy and encouraged them to apply to our Animal Services Assistance Program (ASAP).

Bentley was seen by a veterinarian with support from the ASAP program, and it turned out he was silently suffering from urinary crystals, a painful condition that can worsen into bladder stones if left untreated.

With the right medication and a special diet, Bentley is now happy, healthy, and back to being the good boy he's always been. His family says he's doing better than ever.
