SE 12th Way Asphalt Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M & M Asphalt Maintenance Inc. to resurface SE 12th Way between SE 13th Terrace and SE 14th Street in Lauderdale Harbors. This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying new pavement markings

Construction will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and is expected to be completed on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Work will take place daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along SE 12th Way within the project limits daily during work hours.
  
• One lane in each direction of SE 12th Way within the project limits will be closed during work hours.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
• Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
