CABEI, KfW, and the European Union support the creation of a Business Development Center at the Salvadoran Lutheran University to strengthen entrepreneurs and MSMEs

San Salvador, September 4 - Thanks to the support of the DINÁMICA II Initiative, an alliance promoted by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the German government through KfW, and the European Union, a Non-Refundable Technical Assistance agreement was formalized with the Salvadoran Lutheran University (ULS), to design and create a Business Development Center, aimed at strengthening the capacities of entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

With the creation of this Center, the University seeks to consolidate a space dedicated to training, specialized advice, and comprehensive support for leaders of entrepreneurship and MSMEs. This new space will offer advice aimed at strengthening key areas such as business management and administration, innovation and Digital Transformation, strategic support networks, and the promotion of sustainable entrepreneurship.

Therefore, it is estimated that the skills acquired by those in charge of the CDE will benefit at least 125 entrepreneurs and MSMEs in the areas of San Salvador, Cabañas, and La Paz, who will be positively impacted by this initiative, contributing to the strengthening of the local business fabric and promoting economic development with an inclusive and territorial approach.

With this effort, the DINÁMICA II Initiative reaffirms its commitment to contributing to economic development, business creation and formalization, strengthening the business ecosystem for new, young, and innovative MSMEs, and promoting adequate access to financial services.
