The City of Fort Worth was recognized as 13th out of the 100 Best Fleets in North America by the NAFA Fleet Management Association, placing our city in the top tier of fleet operations across the continent.

The annual NAFA benchmarking program evaluates fleet organizations based on real operational performance, including efficiency, innovation, asset management, technology use and sustainability practices. Fort Worth's ranking reflects its ability to manage a large and complex fleet while maintaining reliable service.

Among peer cities in the top 100, Fort Worth is one of the largest by population, performing alongside major cities such as San Diego, Seattle and Atlanta. The ranking highlights the City's strong performance in areas like public safety readiness, cost control and data-driven decision-making.

In addition to the national ranking, members of the Fleet Division team reached a professional milestone. Brad Hunter, assistant director; Aaron Kellis, fleet analyst; and Anthony Jasso, fleet superintendent; completed the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program through the NAFA Fleet Management Association, demonstrating advanced expertise in fleet leadership, operations and strategy. This certification is one of the highest credentials in fleet management, requiring rigorous exams across areas such as asset lifecycle management, budgeting, safety and compliance, and sustainability planning.

The team was recognized during the 100 Best fleet awards in Cleveland, Ohio, where they received their diplomas.
