NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners has tentatively adopted a 2025 millage rate which will require an increase in property tax by 7.07 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on the tax increase to be held at the W. Harold Pate Building, 1725 Reynolds Street, Room 224, Brunswick, GA 31520 on August 14, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Times and places of additional public hearings on this tax increase are at the Historic Glynn County Courthouse, 701 "G" Street, 2nd Floor Commissioners' Meeting Chambers, on August 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 3.864 mills, an increase of 0.255 mills. Without this tentative increase, the millage rate will be no more than 3.609 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $450,000 is approximately $46.00 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $475,000 is approximately $48.00.
