Free Job Readiness Workshops

Oceanside Public Library's READS Learning Center, 804 Pier View Way, is hosting a popular Job Readiness Workshop series in April and May 2026, for job seekers, or those wishing to improve their job searching. In addition to four workshops, READS Learning Center will host two Job Lab Sessions, where attendees receive 30 minutes of scheduled one-on-one coaching, resume help or interview practice. Oceanside READS, Oceanside Public Library's adult literacy program, supports adults as they reach their education goals. Oceanside READS Learning Center provides free tutoring and small group classes for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment. With the help of dedicated community volunteers, READS Learning Center has served thousands of individuals through three programs: Adult Literacy, Family Literacy and English as a Second Language. A partnership between a grant from California Library Literacy Services and the City of Oceanside has sustained this service for over 26 years.
