Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov meets Ambassador of Venezuela
19 May 2026On 19 May 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus, Franklin Ramirez Araque, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Belarus.
The parties exchanged views on the most pressing issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed plans for joint activities in the near future. Mutual support on international platforms was emphasised.
M.Ryzhenkov reiterated the Republic of Belarus's unwavering position in support of the sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry expressed his gratitude to the Venezuelan Ambassador for his fruitful work and personal contribution to the development of Belarusian-Venezuelan relations, based on mutual trust and respect.
