LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin various asphalt crack treatment repairs in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties beginning Monday, June 8.

Traffic restrictions:
This project will require intermittent single-lane closures. Closures will include:
• Eastbound I-96 from Meridian Road to M-52 in Ingham County,
• I-96 Business Loop (Grand River Avenue) from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Center Street in Ingham County,
• M-21 from Fowler to St. Johns in Clinton County,
• M-36 from Dexter Trail to Cedar Street in Ingham County,
• M-43 (Grand River Avenue) from Park Lake Road to Washington Heights Avenue in Ingham County,
• M-52 at M-36 in Ingham County,
• M-100 from Strange Highway to Willow Highway in Eaton County, and
• M-100 from Front Street to Grand River Avenue in Eaton and Clinton counties.
Motorists should expect delays.
Jobs numbers:
Based on economic modeling, this $275,000 investment is expected to directly and indirectly support two jobs.
Safety benefit:
This project will extend lifetime of the pavement and provide a smoother, safer ride for motorists.
