EDP signs landmark hybrid PPA with a leading company in Poland for a 322 MW portfolio

The energy produced under this PPA is expected to avoid over 600,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to removing approximately 400,000 cars from Polish roads, therebysupplying Energa and its clients with clean and affordable electricity.

The long-termPPA marks a significant milestone in EDP's growth strategy in Poland and its ambition to lead the energy transition across Europe. It also reinforces how EDP aims to deliver innovative solutions for all types of companies and their energy needs. EDP has more than 16 GW of renewable projects contracted in long-term agreements with leading companies worldwide.
