Ambassador of Belarus A.Andreyev presents copies of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay

On August 29, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Paraguay concurrently, Andrey Andreyev, presented copies of his пїЅredentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano.

The parties held a thorough exchange of views on current issues on the international agenda, particularly noting the need for joint efforts to ensure global food security.

The issues of political interaction were discussed both on the bilateral track and in UN organizations. Particular attention was paid to the mutual interest in developing pragmatic trade and economic cooperation in priority areas for both countries, with an emphasis on agriculture, mechanical engineering and green energy.

During the subsequent meeting with the Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Head of the General Directorate of Bilateral Cooperation, Raul Martinez Villalba, and the Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Ana Mariela Ayala, specific activities were discussed in detail between the foreign policy departments, including the development of a bilateral legal framework.
