REU SITE student research presentations, July 29

Join us as our REU students present their summer research projects spanning Arctic science, engineering, and emerging technologies.

Research projects:

  • Investigating Seismic Hazards Resulting from Permafrost Thaw in Alaska's Arctic Regions
  • Geomicrobiology of Extreme Environments
  • Trafficability of the Littoral Mud Flats at High Latitudes
  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of Heat Pumps/Heat Pump Water Heaters in Cold Regions
  • CFD-Based Evaluation of Emergency Ventilation Strategies for Toxic Gas Release from Electric Vehicle Batteries

We welcome students, staff, faculty, and community members to join us in celebrating the achievements of our REU students and learning about their research.
