PECAA and VSP Vision Extend Vision Exam Rebate Through 2026, Continuing Private Practice Support and Investment

Boca Raton, Fla. and Rancho Cordova, Calif. - Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) and VSP Vision today announce the VSP Vision Exam Rebate has been extended through 2026, enabling doctors to increase eye exam revenue as they navigate an unpredictable economic climate. More than 2,800 practices have benefitted from $58 million in rebates since the program was launched in July 2023.

PECAA Max members can receive up to $15 per VSP commercial eye exam through June of next year, thanks to a six-month continuation of the limited-time enhancement introduced this July and originally scheduled to expire at the end of 2025. Beginning next July, the rebate will pay doctors up to $10 per exam.

"PECAA is driven by an overarching mission of protecting and promoting private practice," said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. "Through our ongoing discussions with PECAA Max members about the various business challenges they face, we recognize the positive impact the Vision Exam Rebate is having on their practices and understand that one of the best ways we can support their success is through the continuation of this meaningful program. This offering provides unique support to private practices during a time of increasing complexity."

Practices who are PECAA Max members by December 31, 2025, can receive up to $60,000 in Vision Exam Rebates and Rebate Enhancements in 2026. Those joining PECAA Max in 2026 can receive up to $30,000 through the program next year. Rebate details, which do not include any spending requirements, can be found here.

Kimberly Haw, OD, of three-location Drs. Harano & Haw Optometry in the Bay Area of California, shares, "We've participated in the Vision Exam Rebate and the rebate enhancements since they were each first announced, and our rebate has always been impressive! The program continues to be a great opportunity for growing revenue in our practice and we're thrilled it will continue through next year."

"Extending the VSP Vision Exam Rebate through next year is the latest example of how we're doubling down on investments in private practice," said VSP Vision Chief Provider and Industry Solutions Officer Michelle Skinner. "This initiative complements our efforts to simplify provider programs and maintain prices on Marchon, Altair, and Unity products-despite the impact of tariffs-ensuring that doctors receive the value, support, and stability they need."

PECAA members and non-members are invited to learn additional information about the Vision Exam Rebate, including how to qualify, as well as all the benefits of joining the PECAA Max community at pecaa.com.
