The University of Alaska Museum of the North family programs will explore archaeology in November.

Families with children ages 5 and under can drop in at Early Explorers from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 7. Create and discover with hands-on activities in the Creativity Lab, and explore the galleries.

Family Day: Archaeology is set for Saturday, Nov. 22, from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors can meet archaeologists, see and touch artifacts, make and throw an atlatl, uncover and learn about tools and create crafts. There is no admission fee for children ages 14 and under on Family Days, thanks to support from TOTE.

These programs are included with admission and are free for members.
