McCombie Named Legislator of the Year

House Minority Leader Tony McCombie was named the 2025 Legislator of the Year by the Associated Builders & Contractors Illinois. Leader McCombie attended ABC's Gala event to accept the award, meet with ABC members, and celebrate their work throughout the past year.

"ABC represents the men and women who build our schools, hospitals, factories, roads, and small businesses and who believe opportunity should be based on skill, safety, and hard work," said McCombie

"Construction drives local economies across Illinois. When these businesses succeed, communities grow, families find opportunity, and young people see a future right here at home. Thank you to ABC Illinois for the recognition and more importantly, for the work you do every day to build Illinois from the ground up," McCombie added.

Leader McCombie was joined at the event by fellow House Republican members who were also honored for their work in the legislature.
