Wheat futures hit June lows as grain export sales surged.

Grain markets finished the week on a mixed note across the board. December Corn futures settled 4 1/2 cents lower at 456'0, bringing weekly declines to 18 1/4 cents and marking a fourth consecutive week of declines. Despite price pressure, corn export sales showed notable strength at 1.527 million metric tons, with Mexico purchasing nearly a third of that volume alongside an additional flash sale of 116,000 metric tons to unknown destinations. November Soybean futures gained 3 1/2 cents to settle at 1256'4 amid options expiration, while the active January contract advanced 3 3/4 cents to 1268'4. Soybean export demand remained robust at 2.84 million metric tons, led by China accounting for 2.2 million metric tons. Meanwhile, December Chicago Wheat futures edged up 1/4 of a cent to settle at 625'0, though the contract fell 35 1/2 cents on the week to mark an eighth straight weekly loss and its lowest weekly settlement since June as export demand remained muted.
