Notice - Vermont DOI Reenactment

Please save the date for a reenactment celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration. This will be more than a reading of the Declaration's signing. The reenactment traces the Declaration's words and principles through American history, including their invocation in the Amistad trial and their resonance in the Gettysburg Address.
The program will be narrated by The Honorable Denny Chin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Kathy Hirata Chin and will be followed by a Q&A and discussion featuring Judge Chin, Mrs. Chin, and Judge William K. Sessions III. Our Vermont District Court judges and judges from the Second Circuit are expected to attend, making this a wonderful opportunity to engage with the bench in a unique setting. CLE credit will be available.
