$400,000 for convening organizations in human services

Published February 2 2026

The City of Bellevue is making $200,000 per year available in 2027 and 2028 for organizations that convene education and/or human services providers, along with other interested parties, to increase their collective impact.

The organization(s) that receive funding will bring together diverse groups in education and/or human services for collective problem-solving and decision-making in equitable service delivery. Convening organizations facilitate collaboration, shared learning and alignment across partners to achieve data-informed outcomes in support of a clearly defined mission or vision.

Community Need

During interviews, surveys and focus groups to prepare for the city's 2025 Human Services Needs Update, human services providers indicated there is a need for increased convening partners for collective impact, facilitating collaboration and coordination among providers and encouraging and supporting deepening partnerships between organizations.

How to Apply

Applications, Bellevue Supplemental and other required documents are located at Human Services Funding. Applications are accepted beginning Monday, Feb. 2, and are due by 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27.

The city's Human Services Commission will review the proposals and provide funding recommendations to Parks & Community Services Department leadership.

Eligibility Requirements

The convening organization should demonstrate an ability to implement the conditions required for collective impact, or problem-solving and decision-making, while incorporating equity practices. In addition, applicants for this funding may not receive any other city funding related to this work at the same time.
