City of Glendale to Host 4th Annual Let's Grow Glendale Small Business Summit in Support of Local Businesses
Glendale, CA - For small business owners navigating growth, uncertainty, and day to day demands, access to the right resources and the right people can make all the difference. On May 14, 2026, the City of Glendale will host the 4th Annual Let's Grow Glendale Small Business Summit, bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners, and industry experts for an afternoon of focused learning, meaningful connections, and practical resources in support of local business owners.
"Our responsibility is to serve all the people of Glendale," said Mayor Ardashes "Ardy" Kassakhian. "Small businesses are the heart of our neighborhoods and a driving force behind our city's vitality. This summit is about investing in the people who invest in Glendale every single day."
Home to more than 13,000 businesses and a workforce of nearly 95,000 (Esri), Glendale's economy is driven by a diverse and active business community. Following a strong turnout in 2025 with more than 500 registered attendees, this year's Summit builds on that momentum with expanded programming, including expert led breakout sessions, a business resource exhibition, and new hands-on experiences.
New this year is a Networking Passport powered by Netwrk, designed to encourage more intentional connections. Participants will also have access to complimentary professional headshots and an on-site recording studio to create and record a clear, concise elevator pitch. The half day event is designed for entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners at all stages, offering access to business development resources, capital insights, and opportunities to connect with local service providers.
"We know that small businesses face unique challenges every day," said Soua Vang, Deputy Director of Economic Development. "This Summit is designed to be practical and relevant for today's business environment and it's our opportunity to show up for them. We want attendees to walk away not only with new connections, but tools they can benefit from immediately."
Breakout Sessions:
• Access to Capital: Strategies for Growth and Funding Success - Learn how to navigate funding options, improve cash flow, and position your business to secure the capital needed for sustainable growth.
• AI for Main Street: Your First 3 Steps to Smarter Business - Discover a practical approach to integrating AI into your daily operations, with simple tools and steps you can implement right away.
• People First Marketing: Connections that Convert - Explore how to build authentic customer relationships and turn engagement into measurable business results through people centered marketing strategies.
