Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, voted to pass H.R. 7147, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026 and H.R. 7148, which funds the Department of Defense and Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development. These bills mark the passage of the final four appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2026, delivering fiscal responsibility.
"Today, I voted to pass the final set of Fiscal Year 2026 funding bills," said Rep. Webster. "With the passage of these bills, my Republican colleagues and I are rejecting a bloated omnibus bill and taking meaningful action to undo the damage caused by the Biden Administration and Democrats' reckless policies. These bills advance President Trump's America First agenda - restoring law and order at the border, rebuilding our military readiness, and refocusing federal spending on priorities that actually benefit American families."

Ends Biden-era catch-and-release policies and increases resources to detain and deport illegal aliens.

Provides $116 million to counter China by increasing the Coast Guard's Indo-Pacific footprint while also funding a military pay raise for Coast Guard servicemembers.
