The streets of downtown Fairfield will come alive with music, flavor, and summer fun during the 35th Annual Fairfield Tomato & Vine Festival on Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 600 Texas Street.
This free, family-friendly event continues one of Fairfield's favorite summer traditions and brings together local food, live entertainment, activities, and community spirit in the heart of downtown.
Guests will find a variety of tomatoes to sample and purchase, food from local vendors, craft beer and wine gardens, a tomato canning demonstration, children's activities, and more throughout the weekend. The classic car show, a longtime favorite among festivalgoers, will take place on both Saturday and Sunday this year, giving guests twice the opportunity to enjoy an impressive display of vehicles.
Live music will fill the County Green on both days. Saturday's lineup includes Mobility from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Ideateam from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and Dirty Cello from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday's performances include F.A.T Betty from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Michelle Lambert from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and Ginger Molasses from 3 to 5 p.m.
Whether guests come for the music, food, cars, tomatoes, or time with family and friends, the festival offers something for every age. The annual celebration honors Fairfield's agricultural roots, diverse community, and vibrant downtown.
Admission is free. For more information, contact Juanita Johnson at 707-428-7628 or [email protected], or visit www.fairfield.ca.gov/tomato.
