Westside Future Fund Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Directors

Westside Future Fund (WFF) today announced the appointment of three accomplished leaders to its Board of Directors: Karen Dewalt, Vice President of Global Tax at The Home Depot; Randy Schultz, Atlanta Regional President at Huntington Bank; and Stacey D. Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Chair of the Board of Trustees of The King Center. Together, they bring decades of leadership across finance, corporate strategy, and mission-driven impact to advance WFF's mission of resident-centered neighborhood restoration on Atlanta's historic Westside.

"Karen, Randy, and Stacey each bring a depth of leadership that will strengthen our work for years to come," said John Ahmann, President & CEO of Westside Future Fund. "Their expertise across finance, corporate strategy, and mission-driven impact - paired with a shared commitment to this community and our city - will help us deliver lasting, resident-centered outcomes as we advance restoration without displacement on the historic Westside."

Karen Dewalt serves as Vice President of Global Tax at Home Depot and has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, tax, and corporate strategy for publicly traded retail companies. She leads a cross-functional program that secured more than $500 million in location incentives for the company's supply chain expansion and has developed tax optimization strategies valued in the billions of dollars. She previously led the global expansion strategy for Abercrombie & Fitch. A CPA, Dewalt already serves on WFF's Real Estate Investment Fund (REIF) Investment Committee, as well as the advisory boards of the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University and Norfolk State University. She holds a Master of Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Randy Schultz serves as Atlanta Regional President at Huntington Bank, bringing more than three decades of experience across commercial, corporate, and investment banking and treasury management. During his career, he held senior leadership roles at Bank of America - including Regional Treasury Management Executive for EMEA, based in London - launched and led Regions' Restaurant Banking business, and led the Specialized Industries group at Cadence Bank, now Huntington Bank. He serves on numerous boards, including the Atlanta Police Foundation, and previously chaired the Roswell, Georgia Downtown Development Authority. Schultz holds a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University and a master's degree in economics and international affairs from Johns Hopkins University.

Stacey D. Stewart is Chief Executive Officer of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), where she has led a comprehensive transformation since 2023 and championed the landmark HALT Drunk Driving Law. An Atlanta native, she was elected Chair of the Board of Trustees of The King Center in April 2026, advancing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. She previously served as President & CEO of March of Dimes, U.S. President of United Way Worldwide, and in senior leadership roles at Fannie Mae. Stewart also serves on the corporate board of the PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust. She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from Georgetown University.

"These three leaders reflect the caliber and conviction that define our Board," said T. Dallas Smith, WFF Board Chair. "Their experience and deep ties to this community will be invaluable as we carry forward our most ambitious chapter yet on behalf of the historic Westside's legacy residents."

Westside Future Fund's Board of Directors guides the organization's work to ensure legacy residents can live, learn, work, and thrive in the Westside communities they've long called home.
