Six UW Personnel Selected to Laramie’s ‘20 Under 40’ List

Six University of Wyoming employees were selected to the 2025 class of "20 Under 40" recognizing the top young professionals in Laramie.

They are Jennesi Bartel, a clinical instructor for UW's Bachelor's Reach for Accelerated Nursing Degree Program; Heather Ezell, UW women's basketball head coach; Rachael Hulet, UW Foundation associate controller; Nicholas Jesse, Wyoming School-University Partnership senior project coordinator; Sena Krula, College of Business outreach and engagement coordinator; and Melanie Vigil, associate dean of students.

The "20 Under 40" class is sponsored by Laramie Young Professionals, a Laramie Chamber Business Alliance initiative.

This year's recipients were selected based on leadership, community involvement and their commitment to improving Laramie, according to a special section of the Laramie Boomerang, which published the list.

Laramie Young Professionals "is dedicated to empowering young professionals (ages 21-40) through networking, professional development and community engagement," says the group on its webpage.
