The Colorado State Fair adds even more excitement to its lineup by announcing a Fiesta Day performance by Banda Machos.
"At the Colorado State Fair, we're getting ready to dance, sing, and experience great food and fabulous culture," said Andrea Wiesenmeyer, general manager of the Colorado State Fair. "We're embracing the longstanding tradition of the Fair's Fiesta Day and turning up the fun in 2026!"
Fiesta Day, which will be held on Sunday, Sept.6, is a celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture at the Colorado State Fair. Since 1967, the day has honored tradition with mouthwatering Mexican food, vibrant folklórico dancers, and the powerful sound of mariachi bands.
One of the day's most popular events is Celebración de los Charros. Known as the ballet of horses, this stunning display of horsemanship and culture brings the rich tradition of the Mexican rodeo to the heart of Colorado. Capping off the festivities, Banda Machos will take the stage to close out Fiesta Day with an electrifying performance that celebrates the spirit and sound of the community.
Banda Machos, known for their technobanda sound and quebradita dancing, has been together for more than 30 years and recorded 29 albums.
Tickets for Celebración de los Charros and Banda Machos go on sale on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are available online, by phone at 1-800-514-3849, or in person at the Southwest Motors Events Center box office.
Banda Machos is the latest addition to the Fair entertainment lineup. Country music acts Ian Munsick, Dylan Scott, and Neal McCoy shake up the nights after the PRCA Rodeo in the Big R Arena, and I Love The 90s Tour, and The Fray with ROME of Sublime with Rome will take the Southwest Motors Event Center by storm. The Demolition Derby and Monster Truck events are also back as fair favorites.
