Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker Honors Eight Members of the Fire Department Who Died in the Past Year at FDNY Memorial Day

Fire Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will honor eight FDNY members who died in the past year at the 118th Annual FDNY Memorial Service on Wednesday, October 8th at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department's website at https://www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.
Those who will be honored include:
- Captain Thomas LaBarbiera, Engine 93
- Firefighter Patrick Sheridan, Engine 71
- EMT Christopher Respol, EMS BOT
- EMS Lieutenant Emilio Gonzalez, EMD - PSAC 1
- EMS Lieutenant Nelson Seto, Station 38
- Captain Gregory Schmidt, Engine 8
- EMT Christina Jo McKeen, EMS BOT
- Firefighter Matthew Goicochea, Ladder 41
Due to anticipated weather, the service will not be taking place at the Firemen's Memorial which is located at 100th Street and Riverside Drive.
