Rancier Ave. lane closure planned for Sept. 15

Closures are for installation of asphalt over a water main break.

KILLEEN, Texas (September 15, 2025) - The City of Killeen's Public Works Transportation Division will be performing roadway repair on Rancier Ave. at the intersection of Rancier Ave. and 10th Street beginning Monday, September 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

This maintenance, installation of asphalt over a water main break, will result in the closure of the right lane of Rancier Ave. at the intersection. North bound traffic on 10th Street will be detoured to 8th Street.

There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices, and consider an alternate route during the installation. The roadway will be reopened for regular business at project completion on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. Closure is subject to change based on the workload and weather conditions.

It is very important that all vehicles obey the traffic control devices for the safety of the citizens and employees. All schedules are based on weather and may be changed.
