Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs attends the reception on the occasion of National Day of the Kingdom of Spain

On 10 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Spain hosted by the Embassy of Spain in Thailand.

The Advisor to the Minister delivered opening remarks reaffirming the close and longstanding relations between Thailand and Spain, as well as emphasized opportunities to enhance cooperation in trade and investment, tourism, green and digital transitions, maritime cooperation, education, and people-to-people connectivity. He also expressed appreciation to the Spanish side for supporting the strengthening of Thailand - European Union relations, and expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation would yield tangible results for both countries.

H.E. Mr. Felipe de la Morena Casado, Ambassador of Spain to Thailand, addressed key developments in Thailand - Spain relations, such as the 7th Thailand - Spain Political Consultations, the 3rd Thailand - Spain Forum, the establishment of Spanish private sector's factories in Thailand, and the Thai private sector's investments in Spain. Spain is currently Thailand's 34th largest trading partner, with bilateral trade valued at over 67,000 million baht.
